Brand new & Experimental Web Design Tools: Opinions Requested
|The state of design tools within Firefox
A year ago, the Firefox DevTools group formed a subgroup to focus on brand new tools for working in web design, CSS, and HTML. Motivated by the achievement of the Grid Inspector , along with help from the Developer Outreach, Gecko Platform, and Accessibility teams, all of us launched the Variable Fonts Publisher and the Shape Route Editor , added an Availability Inspector , and revamped the Responsive Design Mode .
Our goal: To build empowering new equipment that integrate smartly with your contemporary web design workflow.
We’ re currently hard at your workplace on a comprehensive Flexbox Inspector as well as CSS change-tracking . Earlier versions of each of these can be used in Firefox Nightly . (The Changes panel is hidden at the rear of a flag in about: config: devtools. inspector. adjustments. enabled
)

We’ re just starting out, and now we want to learn more about you. Show about your biggest CSS plus web design issues in the first-ever Design Tools survey ! We want to hear from both web-developers and designers, and not just Firefox users— Chrome, Safari, Edge, and FOR INSTANCE users are greatly encouraged in order to submit your thoughts!
In early 2019, we’ lmost all post an update with the leads to order to share our data using the greater community and continue our own experiment in open design.
